College Events

The Smith community comes together for events throughout the year. From the first Rally Day in 1876, to Julia Child Day and the Sherrerd Teaching Prizes, begun in 2004, the college's annual events honor our students, faculty and alumnae for their accomplishments; bring families to campus for a taste of college life; and give students an opportunity to learn, reflect or just have fun.

Time to Celebrate

Congratulations, class of 2024! Commencement Weekend—Saturday and Sunday, May 18 and 19—is just around the corner. Gather with your friends and family members for the Ivy Day Parade and awards ceremony, then head to the Quad to receive your diploma on Sunday.
