Celebrating Seniors

Maya Delmont ’25

French Studies and Computer Science double major

“Coming to Smith undecided was a deliberate choice I made! I took serious advantage of the open curriculum to take classes from as many different departments as possible as a first year, and it was through that that I realized that I enjoyed French and CS the most, so I stuck with them.”

Kim Estrada ’25

History major

“My proudest accomplishment has been the family I have created here at Smith. It has been incredibly powerful to make friends who want to help families impacted by apartheid, who want to advocate on behalf of those who are facing oppression, who value creativity, and who support all of my academic and creative endeavors.”

Sherry Li ’25

Philosophy major; Buddhist Studies certificate; Community Engagement and Social Change concentrator

“I will never forget living in Morris House and spending time in the living room, where groups of people would always gather to chat, do homework, or play games. It is where I learned how to knit, and I will miss knitting and crocheting together. ”

Karen Bekhazi ’25

Engineering major; Chemistry minor

“Being a Smithie is one of the most empowering experiences there is. It’s not easy at all, you’ll be challenged intellectually and emotionally almost every day. But, I genuinely can’t think of a place other than Smith that’ll teach and show you that you can do anything you set your mind to.”
