Student Picks Exhibition: Between the Lines, Friday, Nov. 2, Noon–4 p.m, Cunningham Center at Museum
"Between the Lines: Image and Prose in the 20th Century Avant-Garde" is a one-day student-curated show of works on paper from the Museum's permanent collection. On Friday, Nov. 2, noon–4 p.m., visit the Cunningham Center at the Museum for the Student Picks exhibition by Leah Santorine '13. "Between the Lines" pairs the work of early 20th century abstract artists with excerpts of poetry and prose. Work by artists such as Max Ernst, Joán Miró, Salvador Dali, and Pablo Picasso will appear alongside writing by André Breton, Gertrude Stein, Ernest Hemingway and others.
