About Collections

The Museum’s holdings include paintings, sculptures, works on paper (prints, drawings, photographs, and books), antiquities, decorative arts, and emerging collections of non-Western art. Its works-on-paper collections are housed in the Cunningham Center for the Study of Prints, Drawings, and Photographs, a state-of-the-art study and storage facility within the Museum. The Cunningham Center houses more than 1,600 drawings, over 5,700 photographs spanning the history of the medium, and an extensive collection of more than 8,000 prints by artists from Dürer to contemporary printmakers.
