Plan a Class Visit
Museum staff can help you prepare for a class visit by suggesting relevant artworks or by helping to shape object-based assignments. Works of art rotate on occasion in the galleries, so we urge you to contact the Museum staff to confirm that a specific artwork will be available when you visit. Education staff members are also available to participate during your visit by encouraging discussion or by providing background information on specific works of art. Limited classroom space with projection equipment is also available in the Museum.
Class visits should ideally occur during normal Museum hours. For Smith classes that meet outside of these hours, special arrangements can be made with two to four weeks' advance notice.
