    Once Upon a Painting
Enjoy a day of art-making, art-looking and collaborative storytelling inspired by global tales and works of art on view at SCMA.

Create your own fairy tale book with story elements drawn from works on view.

Hang on to that Halloween costume and come dressed as your favorite storybook character.

Listen to fairy tales—familiar and fractured--read aloud by 4th and 5th grade students from the Smith College Campus School, in the galleries: 1 pm; 1:30 pm; 2 pm; 2:30 pm; and 3 pm

Pick up a little something bound for your library, at the Smith College Campus School Pop-Up Book Fair

3:15pm  Jigs and reels by the Wailing Banshees, Smith's Celtic music ensemble, will add a soundtrack and a whole lot of craic to our fairy tale setting.
