2014 COMMENCEMENT WEEKEND LUNCHES

The Dining Services staff is looking forward to providing our graduating seniors and their guests dining opportunities during the Commencement weekend. To ensure a well-planned weekend, they need to know how many will be attending the box lunch on Saturday, May 18, and/or the Commencement lunch on Sunday, May 19, the two meals that the college plans for family members.

The Campus Center Cafe will be open at 7 a.m. on Sunday, May 18, for purchased breakfast items.

Saturday, May 17: Box Luncheon, Noon-1 p.m.

Lunches are distributed at Scott Gym. Families may meet and dine at the gym or take their box lunches to any location on campus. Purchasing your tickets in advance will eliminate long lines. There is NO charge for the Smith senior.

Box Lunch Menu

  • Smoked turkey with green leaf lettuce on a Tuscan roll
  • Tuna salad, green leaf lettuce onsour dough bread
  • Vegan wrap: pesto white bean spread, shredded carrots, cucumber & tomato slices, red leaf lettuce
  • Assorted snack chips & baby carrots
  • Cabot cheddar cheese & crackers
  • Chocolate fudge brownies & vegan cookies
  • Assorted fresh hand fruit
  • Assorted beverages

$11 per person by May 1 ($12 after May1)
$5 for children under 12 ($6 after May 1)
NO CHARGE FOR SMITH SENIORS

Sunday, May 18: Commencement Lunch, 12:30-2 p.m.

Lunch is served in college dining rooms and the Campus Center Carroll Room. Each senior will be issued two complimentary lunch tickets (for guests) once their senior surveyis completed and will be assigned to a dining location. Additional tickets may also be purchased for guests.

Seniors from Friedman, Tenney, Hopkins, off-campus, Ada Comstock Scholars, graduate students, and January seniors and their guests who wish to attend the lunch will be assigned to a dining room and will be issued two complimentary luncheon tickets.

  • Carved sirloin with horseradish spread on Tuscan roll
  • Roast turkey with cranberry mayonnaise on cranberry apple bread
  • Smoked salmon with whipped herbed cream cheese on pumpernickel bread
  • Roasted garden vegetables with tfou mayonnaise in a herb wrap
  • Bow tie with feta & asparagus salad
  • Spinach strawberry salad
  • Fresh hand fruit
  • Smith favorites: assorted bars & cookies
  • Assorted beverages
