Ways to View Commencement

Seating at the Smith College Commencement exercises is for the graduates and their families and friends. The public is invited to view this year’s Commencement ceremony, on Sunday, May 19, at 10 a.m., on the big screen in the comfort of a seat with no obstructions in Leo Weinstein Auditorium, Wright Hall.

Commencement, which will take place in the Quadrangle at the corner of Elm Street and Paradise Road (alternate location in case of inclement weather is inside the Indoor Track and Tennis facility on West Street), will be simulcast on a large screen in Weinstein Auditorium—free and open to all.

Additionally, students, parents, alumnae and friends around the world are invited to view the event live via Web stream.

For a comfortable seat and a clear view of the live event, go to Weinstein Auditorium on May 19. If Commencement is held indoors, a second simulcast location will be added in Sweeney Auditorium, Sage Hall (rain location only).
