VISUAL COMMUNICATION RESOURCE CENTER

The Visual Communication Resource Center (VCRC) provides equipment and support for visual computing, with an emphasis on the capture, editing, and compositing of visual materials. The Center houses 19 dual-platform (Mac and PC) workstations, each with a high-resolution graphics display monitor, in addition to scanners and other peripheral devices.

The VCRC is used for class groups and for individual faculty and student projects. Before beginning work on a project in the VCRC, faculty members should contact the VCRC Director to arrange access times. Student projects require a faculty sponsor, and students should also contact the Director in advance.

Location: The VCRC is located in Hillyer 218.

Hours: The VCRC is open and staffed during the following hours:

Monday - Friday: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Mon, Wed, Thurs: 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm

The VCRC is staffed by student monitors during evening hours.

Contact Information: For further information, contact the VCRC Director, x3398.
