Smith currently supports the following versions of the Microsoft Office suite 2013 for Windows, and 2011 for Macintosh.

Microsoft Office 365
Smith students, faculty, and staff are eligible to install Microsoft Office 365 Pro Plus on their personally owned computers and mobile devices. Each user can install Office 365 on up to 5 different machines, including Windows computers, Macs, and mobile devices. Office 365 account holders also receive a free Microsoft OneDrive cloud-storage account.

Installing Office 2013 for Windows
Microsoft Office 2013 is not the campus standard for all Smith-owned Windows computers.

Microsft Word Mail Merge

Preparing Your Computer to Use Outlook for Email Merge
7 users with Office 2010 or 2013 installed on their computer can use Microsoft Outlook to send mail-merged email messages. Note that mail-merged messages can be sent to any number of addresses because the Outlook configuration used bypasses Google's sending limits.

Using the Microsoft Word Mailing Ribbon
