The reading is free, open to the public, and will be followed by a book sale and signing. 

Ellen Bryant Voigt’s work is distinguished by a singular precision, force, and purity of vision. A former Chancellor of the Academy of American Poets and recipient of many distinguished awards, she is known for an exacting and luminous intelligence, and for poems infused with syntactical genius and evocative natural imagery. Voigt founded—and still teaches in—the MFA Program for Writers at Warren Wilson College.
