12 noon-1 pm Library Forum
Neilson Browsing Room

Lunch will be provided for the first 50 people.

Smith is in the process of thinking about the future of the libraries, beginning with Neilson and the collections housed in Alumnae Gym. We have hired the architectural firm Shepley/Bulfinch to advise us about models for Smith as we consider changes in academic libraries in the 21st Century.

Representatives from Shepley/Bulfinch talk about ideas for renovation and new construction, and what this might mean for Smith students and faculty. As the project moves forward, additional opportunities will be available for students to be involved.
