| 5:00 pm | Lydia Warren Josten Library Mezzanine |
Lydia Warren, internationally known blues artist and Ada Comstock Scholar, brings her alt-blues vibe to the Josten Mezzanine on the first Friday of the bluest month. Lydia has performed from Boston to Beirut, has opened for B.B. King and other jazz luminaries, and headlines her own band. Come hear her distinctive Chicago-influenced blues, on the first Friday of the bluest month.
Check out Lydia Warren's website with links to her music and videos of her performing. Visit her band's Facebook page!
A patron-driven performance series in Josten Library's acoustically brilliant mezzanine. Students, faculty, and staff in the performing arts offer informal live music, dance, and theatre performances on first Fridays during the semester, at 5:00 pm, in that little interval between tea and supper. Come see and hear the library come alive with the passions and projects of our patrons.
