  • JSTOR - Complete full text backfiles (excluding latest 2-5 years) for 1900+ scholarly journals.
         Step 1:  Login to the Alumnae Directory
         Step 2:  Click on Library Benefits (see options on the left)
         Step 3:  Click on MyJSTOR to create an account for ongoing accessthen create a                   MyJSTOR account for on-going access.
  • Find more licensed digital collections through the AASC Library Access page:
    - Project MUSE: full text of current issues for 400+ scholarly journals in the arts and humanities, social sciences and mathematics
    - SAGE Knowledge: eBook and eReference library (primarily social sciences)
    - SAGE Journals:  hundreds of journals in the Humanities, Social Sciences, and Science, Technology  & Medicine
  • Annual Reviews - Authoritative, analytic reviews in 40+ focused disciplines within the Biomedical, Life, Physical, and Social Sciences.
  • Mango Languages - Online learning tool for 60+ languages; self-paced tutorials to practice reading, listening & speaking. Includes both modern languages several ancient languages (Koine & ancient Greek, Latin & Biblical Hebrew) . Also includes specialty courses (e.g. food & wine in French, Arab etiquette).

  • Relax in the Friends of the Libraries Reading Room, where popular periodicals are available
  • Use computers & borrow books and more
    Smith alumnae may use the OneCard or apply for a library borrower’s card at the circulation desk of any of the libraries (please bring a picture ID). There is no charge for a borrower’s card but it must be renewed annually. The OneCard or borrower’s card allows alumnae to borrow materials in person; the Libraries do not lend materials to alumnae by mail
