How can we incorporate rest into the micro-moments of our experience, without wholly relying on the mythical 'large swaths of time' that are promised by breaks from the rhythms within semesters? If it’s not time that wholly determines our restfulness, what does? Participants will learn a few practical ‘rest tools’ to apply in daily life, and be guided to practice within this experiential session. Though good material conditions can help, we consider the possibility that conditions don’t have to be just right for connecting with our better-rested selves. In this gathering we explore what is required instead.
