Final papers are due by the date set by the instructor. Instructors may not set deadlines beyond the last day of the examination period. Students are required to know when written work is due at the end of the semester and to submit it on time and in person, not by messenger or mail.
Extensions for final work due at the end of the semester may not be granted beyond the end of the examination period except in cases of illness or emergency authorized by the class dean, not by the instructor.
If arrangements are made to submit papers by mail, students must keep copies of the papers and must send them by certified mail, return receipt requested. If by e-mail or fax, it is the student's responsibility to check that the work submitted has been received by the instructor.
