Welcome to Smith SSW - Online!

Selected popular continuing education courses were video and/or audio taped over the past three summers and will soon be online for a limited time (November 1, 2015-March 31, 2016). All coursework must be completed by May 15, 2016.

Online courses feature timely topics presented by some of the finest helping professionals in the field. Earn 0.5 - 5.5 CEUs per course from the comfort of your home! These courses are informative, engaging, and presented in an easily accessible online format!

Courses run from $25 - $100.

Be sure to register soon - registration will close on March 31!

How it Works

  1. Establish compatibility with the SmithOnline system using the Test Course
  2. Register for courses online
  3. Receive an email with an enrollment key for each course and instructions for creating an account at SmithOnline
  4. Create username and password at SmithOnline
  5. Receive a second email with a link used to confirm the SmithOnline username and password
  6. Use the link from the email to confirm the username and password
  7. Sign in to SmithOnline and enroll in each course by entering the enrollment key
  8. Watch or listen to the course lecture
  9. Complete course evaluation
  10. Answer 3 multiple-choice assessment questions
  11. Generate CEU certificate in SmithOnline, which will email you a copy when you click "Get Your Certificate"

NOTE: You will have 30 days from enrollment to complete each course, but all coursework must be completed by May 15, 2016.

Continuing Education Units

Courses offer between .5 and 5.5 CEUs, depending on length (see below for details).

Cost

Courses vary in price depending on length from $25 for a .5 hour course to $100 for a 5.5-hour course (see below for details).
