The Roger Miller Dissertation Grant offers $1000 to support the highest level of scholarly dissertation research on at-risk populations by Doctoral candidates at SSW. the Smith College School for Social Work. The deadline is May 9, 2015.

SSW professor emeritus David Burton is quoted as an expert on the treatment of sex offenders in MassLive coverage of David M. Linnehan case, which involved charges of possession of nearly one million images of child pornography.
