The Grammar, Punctuation, and Mechanics Review is a three-session workshop (new material in each session) offered by writing counselors from the Jacobson Center for Writing, Teaching, and Learning. The sessions will review common errors and stylistic dilemmas encountered by graduate-level writers. We'll use discussion and exercises to review this material.
The Review will take place Wednesdays, June 15, 22 and 29 12:30 to 1:30, in Seelye Hall 307 (please feel free to bring your lunch). Participants should try to attend all three sessions.

This workshop, offered by writing counselors from the Jacobson Center for Writing, Teaching, and Learning, will provide second year students with helpful tips for writing their theses, from refining a topic to producing a final draft. The format will include an informal discussion of successful strategies as well as a question and answer period.
