I Sing Earth Pt 1: Elephants’ Tears May 1, 2019 The Choreopoem Acting Class presents I Sing Earth Pt 1: Elephants’ Tears, a play with music about the environment and our place in it, written by Pan Morigan, and directed by Andrea Hairston & Pan Morigan. Using choreopoem acting and ensemble techniques, students in this course have explored the local/global/historical impact of human communities on the environments they inhabit, focusing on the MacLeish Field Station and our local Western Massachusetts ecosystems. We also explored the impact of language, world view, and imagination on our relationships to environmental issues. This performance is free and open to the public.
