Kew and Smith

Every summer since 1994, two Smith College students have worked as interns at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, England. Their summer is spent at Kew's Jodrell Laboratory, working on projects in molecular biology and conservation genetics. This internship is funded in part through an endowment established in honor of Muriel Kohn Pokross '34.
