I am the assistant
director of residence life.

I am going into my fifth year.
What is your busy season?
The academic year! When students
are living in the houses, we are working with them to support
the development of healthy house communities.

Who gets the most face time with you?
House presidents--they are great
leaders and I see all of them weekly and many of them several
times a week.
Coordinator of house events--the
student works with me in managing the house social system.
What are you
reading now?
Chronicle of Higher Education.
What is your favorite
movie?
Bend it Like Beckham.
If you suddenly had two hours of free time,
what would you do?
Summer: go jump in a lake/river.
Winter: play in the snow.

wall hanging at home?
A collage of my partner and
me on our wedding day.
What annoys the heck
out of you?
Inequities between people.
Do you eat fast food?
On road trips--Whoppers are
my favorite.
Do you consider yourself
an urban, suburban or rural person?
Between suburban and rural.
Who are your role models?
Cindy Hellman and Nancy Lange--past
supervisors and educators who continue to inspire me.
What's your favorite thing about
where you grew up?
Being able to wander carefree
through our neighborhood.

Have fun while you
are here! It will go by very quickly and life is too short not
to enjoy! |
