THE BASICS:
Where are you from?
Rift-Valley, Kenya.
Did you always
know you wanted to come to Smith?
No! But I am happy I'm here.
NOW THE FUN STUFF:
Who gets the most face time with you?
The Kenyan Margaret's.
When was the last time
you wore a dress?
Can't remember!
What are you
reading now?
Calculus, I love it!
Do you eat fast food?
Once in a while.
What do you miss most
about home?
Food (Ugali and nyama choma,
not to mention a side plate of kachumbari!). Weather—I just
hate the cold weather! Visiting friends without prior arrangements!
What
is your favorite movie?
I have a lot of favorites. Can't
think of a single favorite.
If you sudden had two hours
of free time, what would you do?
Watch a movie or, probably,
sleep!
What is your favorite
wall hanging in your room?
Don't have any, but I love my
curtains a lot.
Do you consider yourself
an urban, suburban or rural person?
Rural person—just love the big
farms and animals and the fact that it's just quiet!
What annoys the heck
out of you?
Daily assignments that are graded.
Who are your role models?
My mother. She is a wonderful
and hardworking lady. Ben Carson: from nothing to one of
the best neurosurgeons in the world; look out for his book
Gifted Hands, you'll love it.
What single piece of advice
would you give to President Christ?
We need more exciting events
at Smith, like [last year's visit by] the Dalai Lama!
