Face
Time
Where are you from?
I'm from Westbrook,
Maine.
Did you always know
you wanted to come to Smith?
I knew after I first visited
my sophomore year of high school. My high school French teacher
(class of ’92!) brought me to campus and I instantly fell
in love with Dawes House and all of the amazing parts of
being a Smithie.
Now the fun stuff.
Who gets the most face
time with you?
This time of year, my computer.
But really, my amazing housemates and friends.
When was the last time
you wore a dress?
Yesterday! I usually either
wear a dress of a skirt, I've just recently gotten used to
wearing jeans on a regular basis.
What are you reading
now?
Right now, I'm reading a couple
of things: In Vogue for an art history project, Graziella for
my French class, and I'm rereading Eat, Pray, Love for
fun!
Do you eat fast food?
Very rarely. When I do it's
a splurge!
What do you miss most
about home?
My family!
What is your favorite
movie?
That's a hard one! Probably My
Fair Lady. I love anything with Audrey Hepburn.
If you suddenly had
two hours of free time, what would you do?
No homework whatsoever! I'd
probably grab a mocha downtown at Woodstar and go have a
picnic somewhere on campus.
What is your favorite
wall hanging in your room?
The vintage Air France poster
hanging over my bed.
Do you consider yourself
an urban, suburban or rural person?
Probably suburban. But I'm going
to Paris next year, so I'm looking foward to experiencing
a big city!
What's your favorite
thing about where you grew up?
I love being able to go to the
beach whenever I want in the summer. I spent my whole life
trying to get out of Maine but now appreciate how beautiful
and calm it is.
What annoys the heck
out of you?
Not being able to change certain
things. Oh, and not having a clean room. It must be the control
freak in me!
Who are your role models?
My parents, most Smithies, and
Julia Child. Audrey Hepburn and Jackie O for fashion icons.
