A critical component of Smith College's year 2000 compliance program is to insure that all College equipment will meet the year 2000 criteria and continue to function without interruption before, on and after January 1, 2000.
The enclosed forms identify one or more products purchased from you that we believe to be time and/or date sensitive in their operation, performance, and functionality and which may be negatively impacted by the century date change. It is critical that you complete these forms providing one form for each different product, and return them to the attention of (department chair) no later than 30 days from the date of this letter. If the College has purchased other products from you which are not identified on the attached forms, please complete a blank form for any such product.
If you fail to complete this form(s), Smith College may in its sole discretion decline to purchase products from you in the future or if your contract with the College is ongoing, Smith College may begin proceedings to terminate the contract with you.
