School for Social Work Students and Faculty

2024

We are thrilled to debut a new platform for you to order your decals on.

Online Permit Registration and Citation Management

A School for Social Work student summer parking permit allows parking in green-lined spaces or on the roof level of the parking garage. This applies 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with no exceptions. SSW Students are prohibited from parking in orange service spaces, white lined faculty staff spaces, or blue lined visitor spaces.

SSW faculty are permitted to park in white lined faculty/staff spaces and are prohibited from parking in blue-lined visitor spaces or green-lined student spaces. One exception is that faculty assigned to live in the Friedman Complex may park in green-lined spaces in the Friedman lot.

Summer Parking for Student Workers

Summer 2024

The earliest a pass can be issued is May 13, 2024.  Please fill out the form on the Visitor Parking page and note that you will be working on campus in the purpose on campus section. Your pass will then be emailed to you.

Students who work on campus during the summer are required to obtain a temporary parking pass. The pass is free of charge and allows students to park in the permitted lot assigned by the parking office June 1 through August 18. Vehicles may not be stored on campus at any time. Vehicles displaying evidence of non-use will be ticketed and towed. Please email parkingdecals@smith.edu with any questions.

Summer Parking for Dependents of Employees

Dependents of faculty and staff who are employed during the summer are required to obtain a temporary parking pass for the summer employment period at the Campus Safety Parking Office. Dependents will be assigned a lot to park in.

Please note we will be charging a monthly fee to the long-term passes. Anything over 30 days will be $10 per month. This applies to visitors and summer workers.
