Meadow Day
Tiny green plants emerge from the earth.
Birds are singing the sky into place.
—Joy Harjo, U.S. Poet Laureate and 2021 Commencement speaker
(from “For Keeps,” 2019)
Introducing Meadow Day! Classes are canceled as we welcome the spring by taking time out to enjoy our beautiful campus and surroundings. Let’s celebrate with seasonal activities, both outdoor and indoor; creative projects; cultural events; nature walks and entertainment—and, of course, food. Together, we can use this time to observe the changes that come with the new season, relax, rejuvenate and rejoice.
Meadow Day T-ShirtsT-shirts are available for students in the asymptomatic screening program during the scheduled pick-up times below. Remote seniors will receive their t-shirt via mail. Remote first-years, sophomores and juniors can pick up their shirt in the fall when they return to campus. Missed picking up your shirt? |
