  • Nine career advisers are available to Smith students from the moment they arrive on campus
  • 96% of students who meet with a career adviser are confident in their next steps.

  • Smith students have access to 53,000 alums in more than 130 countries and a network of over 600 companies recruiting virtually and on campus
  • Smith Career Connect gives all students direct access to alums who have volunteered to be informal mentors.

  • More than 400 students receive Praxis grants of up to $4,500 to support unpaid internships taking place all over the world
  • 90 students received funding through the Universal Conference Fund to attend academic and professional conferences. In response to increased student demand, a new program is launching in 2025–26 that gives every undergraduate student access to $1,000 for professional development experiences.

  • Smith has been a top producer of Fulbright Scholars for the past two decades. In 2023, eight students and one alum were awarded Fulbrights.
