Provost Office

Dear students, staff and faculty:
Like many of you, we are watching the Russian invasion of Ukraine with alarm. The humanitarian consequences of the invasion are heart wrenching for those in the region, and are already being felt worldwide. We have been in touch with our Ukrainian students to offer the college's support.
As an institution that educates students to become global leaders, we seek to understand these events and offer every opportunity to learn within our community at this moment of historical inflection.
We invite you to “Russia Invades Ukraine: A Faculty Teach-In” on Thursday, March 3, at 12:10 p.m. in Weinstein Auditorium, Wright. Presenters include Professor of Government Mlada Bukovansky; Associate Professor of Government Brent Durbin; Associate Professor of History Sergei Glebov; Assistant Professor of Russian, Eastern European & Eurasian Studies Thomas Roberts and Professor of Religion and Russian Vera Shevzov.
This event will help us not only learn more about events in Ukraine and the history that led to this conflict, but it will also offer an opportunity for us to show solidarity for members of our community with ties to Ukraine.
We look forward to seeing you on Thursday.
