Celebrating SSW Graduates

The Smith College School for Social Work will award master’s and doctoral degrees to approximately 123 graduates at its commencement ceremony on Friday, August 16.

The event—which begins at 4:30 p.m. in John M. Greene Hall—is open to the public.

The commencement speaker is Dottie R. Morris, associate vice president for institutional diversity and equity at Keene State College.

Griselda Tomaino is the M.S.W. class speaker, and Nichole C. Wofford is the Ph.D. class speaker.

The commencement ceremony will be livestreamed on the Smith SSW Facebook page.

About Dottie Morris

As the associate vice president for institutional diversity and equity at Keene State College, Dottie Morris collaborates with the president and vice presidents to co-create an environment deeply rooted in the principles of equity, diversity and social justice.

Morris received her doctorate in clinical psychology from Washington State University. She holds a master’s degree in counseling psychology from Texas Southern University, and earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Dillard University.
