Recognition
for a Quarter Century
It’s no
small feat, and only a handful of Smith faculty members
reach the landmark each year, but six more were recently
presented with the Charis Medal. The award is given annually
to Smith faculty who have served the college for 25 years
in recognition of academic excellence, loyalty and commitment
to teaching and students.
The 2007 Charis Medal recipients were presented with the
award by President Carol T. Christ and Provost and Dean of
the Faculty Susan Bourque during the final faculty meeting
on May 17.
