The Shoes of Smith
Smithies and their shoes—there
are as many styles as there are students. Yet amid all the
academic swirl, extra-curricular options and social side-routes,
the colorful, expressive shoes on students’ feet are not
often enough the focus of attention. So we at the Gate decided
to take a close look at what students are wearing on their
