Working on a theater scene focused on eating disorders. |
Most teens live in a world where people are often judged by their appearance, and where there is pressure to look and dress certain ways. Many girls have the idea that only perfect good looks are okay; anything short of being really beautiful means failure. Some teens agonize for hours each day about their appearance. And unfortunately, some even make changing their appearance into a mission to which they devote most of their waking moments, as in eating disorders, where girls obsess about food and weight.
