Argyris Tsiaras

Biography
Argyris Tsiaras is a macroeconomist with primary research interests in the areas of macrofinance, asset pricing and international finance. His research explores the impact of heterogeneity in portfolio investment and risk taking by different economic agents on macroeconomic outcomes, including asset prices, wealth inequality and business-cycle fluctuations.
At Smith, Tsiaras teaches courses broadly related to his research interests, including courses in macroeconomics, economic inequality and growth, and a research seminar at the intersection of household finance and inequality.
