Chris Rahlwes

Chris Rahlwes’ research focuses on truth, negation, denial, and ineffability. He approaches these topics from a global perspective, focusing on Jainism, Buddhism, Daoism, Mohism, the Greco-Arabic Peripatetics, ancient Egyptian philosophy, and contemporary philosophy of language and logic. His most recent work has been on classical and ancient accounts of non-propositional truth.

He teaches logic, ethics, philosophy of mind, and global philosophy classes, combining ancient, classical, and contemporary perspectives.
