DAILY SENDING LIMITS
Google imposes limits on the total number of messages that can be sent from an individual account each day, and on the unique and total number of recipients for all messages sent from that account each day. If an account exceeds any of the limits below, Google assumes it is being used to send spam and may disable the account for up to 72 hours.
Read the points below to be sure you understand how Google counts recipients:
- An external recipient is any email address that does not end in @smith.edu.
- The total count of recipients includes all addresses in the To, Cc, and Bcc fields.
- POP/IMAP users: Note the 100-recipient upper limit for messages sent via SMTP.
