Work Study/Temp Employee Access
In order for student, temp, TA, or RA workers to use Xerox MFDs (Multifunction Device) with PaperCut for work purposes, they will need to use an 88# at the device instead of tapping a OneCard ID. Temporary employees are not issued OneCard IDs and if students use their own OneCards, they will be personally charged for the copying/printing.
These workers should be using either department generic accounts (aka Lab Accounts) or employee assigned accounts. Each of these types of accounts will have an 88 number associated with it.
To request the 88#: Email ithelp@smith.edu with the name of the generic account or temporary employees' account being used. If you do not have a generic account you can request one at this time.
88#s can be used to unlock the main screen of the Xerox MFD by using the "Alternate Login" button and entering in the 88# on the numeric keypad with no password.
