The Smith Google Account and Portal access for faculty, staff and students who are no longer active, will expire according to the College's Account Retention Policy. If you are leaving the college and don't already have a non-Smith email account, now is the time to create one.

If you used your Smith email address to set up any external accounts, or used it as a second contact for an account verification (Facebook, Apple ID, Twitter, YouTube, etc.), be sure to change the email address for those accounts to your personal account address.

Can I transfer my email and Google drive files?

Yes, Google has a Transfer feature for transferring email and My Drive to a personal Google Account. Follow the instructions through the link here to get started.

If you choose not to transfer your drive files to a personal Google account, then you can still download My Drive files and folders to your computer or other storage device.
