This case study of permaculture design and edible landscaping follows the nine years it took to develop the site, which now features over forty species of fruit and seventy perennial edible leaves on a tenth of an acre. Besides authoring Paradise Lot (which features contributions by Jonathan Bates), Toensmeier wrote the award-winning Perennial Vegetables and co-authored Edible Forest Gardens.
