Early Career

0–5 years post-graduation

With programs tailored to meet the unique needs of Smithies, our student to early career support is dedicated to empowering recent alums.

  • Attend events specifically designed for recent alums like you.
  • Connect with fellow Smithies interested in sharing information about their industry and field through our Career Networking portal.

Mid Career

5–20 years post-graduation

We offer programming dedicated to supporting alums as they advance from early career roles into mid-career positions and management roles. Targeted career and professional support helps alums navigate this critical transition and achieve their career aspirations.

  • Attend events and workshops specifically designed for this critical mid-career phase of your life.

Late Career

20+ years post-graduation

As your career advances and evolves, so does our support. Our programs are designed to empower alums to lead with confidence.

For Employers

Promote your opportunities to recent graduates and Smith students by posting to Handshake, our internship and job database. This service is free to employers. In addition to reaching Smith’s student community, internship and job opportunities posted in Handshake are shared with our partners at Amherst College and Mount Holyoke College, and selected postings may be shared with other recruiting consortium college partners.

If you are an alum and hiring, post your openings on the Smith Network Job Board, a dedicated platform for alums.
